Day 1 - From Miki (1970) to Johnson-Champoux-Allard to 2025 (homogeneous materials, measurements and simulations) - Coordinator: Olivier Dazel (LAUM, Le Mans, France) 

Day 2 - Towards heterogeneous materials, metamaterials and structured materials - Coordinator: Jean-Philippe Groby (LAUM, Le Mans, France) 

Day 3 - Measuring the properties of complex materials using imaging (sound and ultrasound, X-rays) - Coordinator: Valérie Kaftandjian (LVA - INSA Lyon, France)

Day 4 - Laboratories, visits and transdisciplinary vision, scientific communication and sustainable development. - Coordinator: Olivier Robin (CRASH-UdS)

In order to facilitate interaction and access to the advanced school for both French and English speakers, courses will be given in French and course materials will be in English.

The advanced school will be followed by the 40th anniversary of the Groupe d'Acoustique de l'Université de Sherbrooke (June 06), which will provide an opportunity to summarize the state of acoustics in Quebec, with academic, industrial and student presentations.
