Practical informationThis summer school will take place from 01 June (evening) to 04 June 2025 on the Jouvence site (accommodation and meals on site - return journey organised by public transport). The content will be balanced between courses and practical or digital laboratories. The Poudrerie building will be dedicated to the summer school group and will enable technical exchanges to continue outside the training sessions, as well as enabling participants to discuss their respective research subjects and develop their network.
The evening of 04 June will be devoted to a social activity in downtown Sherbrooke. The fourth day of the school - 05 June 2025 - will be held on the main campus of the Université de Sherbrooke. It will focus on cross-disciplinary aspects such as scientific communication and life-cycle analysis, a method of quantifying the environmental benefits of new materials. A visit to the Acoustics-Signal-Human Research Centre and the Mecanum company will be organised alongside laboratory measurements using all available resources. These measurements will enable the concepts explored during the first three days to be revisited.
